Summer, Summer, Summer Time
It’s finally Summer and in true English fashion, it’s raining!
Entering new a season always gives me a sense of hope, hope for change, hope for better weather, hope for a fresh new start. And with that, as we’re entering the middle of the year I wanted to set some intentions for the rest of the year.
- Firstly to live more consciously, these last few months I have felt abit all over the place mentally and have had a lot of impulse moments. Which is not how I want things to be going forward. My aim is to slow down with my mind and to be more aware of the choices I make. Being conscious of what I bring into myself and getting rid of anything that doesn’t align with me anymore.
- To do plastic free July to the best of my ability. I feel I already do pretty well to avoid plastic but I always think I could probably do better. So over the month I’m going to avoid it anyway I can. If you haven’t heard of plastic free July, It’s a great organisation to help encourage people to live with less plastic. If you check out there website there is loads of resources to help you cut down on your plastic consumption in every part of your life.
- And finally, to declutter more! I had a moment this last month where I just wanted to get rid of everything (See, the impulsive thoughts). As I started to fell overwhelmed with it all once again. As I’ve already shared a lot of my journey to minimalism, I still think there is more I can do. So get ready to see more declutter posts.
So these are my intentions for the rest of the year, I hope they inspire you to think of what you want to do with the rest of 2021. I believe intentions are better then goals as there is less pressure and no disappointment if you don’t hit that goal.
Let me know if you have any intentions for the rest of the year.
